From my family to you and yours...
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
my daughter had been suffering from a runny nose all day,,, so afer blowing and her nose hurting.... i went to my oil drawer and searched for what we had on hand that is used in the raindrop... her runny nose slowed down and by the next day was almost gone!
pull out a metal or glass bowl and fill a small sauce pan about 1/2way with water... heat on med low... put all ingredients except essential oils in bowl and place over water filled sauce pan. melt no need to stir... remove from heat. add essentail oils, stir, let cool.... for this the freezer works great.... but if you used a glass bowl let it cool at room temp for awhile, once solid remove from freezer....let sit on counter 5-10 mins to knock the chill off of the bowl. ..or it will re harden/ refrezze as you are whipping. .. use a hand mixer and whip starting at 2 or med low then increase to 5 or high... then bottle as you would like:-) once i pull out my cricut i will post a new pic of my labeled jar... but for now paper tape and pen will do:-)
we use this for achy back, sore necks, achy /tired feet, bumps and bruises, after exercising..
I love to make everything.....and well December is chapped lip mania time here! now... how did i figure out how much i needed... well i filled all 6 of the containers with water. then emptied that water into a glass measuring cup... then i used my tablespoon measure to remove the water... then when there was less then a tablespoon left i used my teaspoon measure... it worked out great. .. but next batch will use vitamin e instead of honey....as getting it equally in each pot was hard....it did not melt into the oilsand butters.
so put all ingredients exceot essential oils into a bowl over pot of water. ..over med low heat.... melt then remove from heat. add in essential oils and mix. pour desired amount into containers....... let cool at room temp....
the lip balm container were purchased from abundenthealth4u.com
now if you are into colors you can add mineral powders but thats another post:-)
