home made foaming face cleanser with essential oils
i used the instructions from http://simplehomemade.net/homemade-foaming-facial-cleanser/. easy to follow
basic recipe
1/4 cup Dr. Bronner’s liquid castile soap (mine was eucalyptus , but any is fine)
1/4 cup water
2 tsp almond oil (jojoba oil would also work well)
2 tsp aloe vera gel
2 tsp glycerin
8-12 drops essential oils
i actually used olive oil instead of almond as it is what i have on hand.
mix all ingredients EXCEPT for the castile soap. either with a stick blender or in a regular blender. simply stir in the soap once the mix has emulsified. I used 8 drops of melrose, lemon, and frankincense. it has been lighting my skin and making it glow!
